Three question!

Hi,

now,i am using the grub,but i have some trouble.

1.i compiled the grub 0.5,but when i boot from a floppy,the system would reboot again,why?

2.yesterday,i compiled grub 0.5.94 ,when i boot from floppy,only show "stage1 stage2",then

system halt,why?

3.when i use the grub-boot-0.5.93.1.image ,it does can boot my linux,but when mount root

filesystem,it failed,say somthing like "VFS panic:........",why?

give me some help,please
