By the way, Mandrake uses GRUB with --disable-lba-support-bitmap-check
Jeff, has anybody complained so far?

Also I found that even the latest BIOS for my motherboard ASUS P5A-B (BIOS
ver. 1008, 10/25/1999) doesn't support the bitmap check, so I have to use
--disable-lba-support-bitmap-check too.
