My hda has one windows partition and my hdb has several linux partitions.
I've been able to install grub into the MBR when the disks were the other
way around, but this way the arrangement seems to be confusing grub:
grub> root (hd1,1)
Filesystem type is ext2fs, partition type 0x83
grub> setup (hd0)
Run "embed /boot/grub/e2fs_stage1_5 (hd0)"
15 sectors are embedded.
Run "install /boot/grub/stage1 d (hd0) (hd0)1+0 p /boot/grub/stage2"
Error: Bad filename (must be absolute pathname or blocklist)
The install command doesn't jive with the documented usage of install.
What should the install command be, by the way?
