Are you sure ? It's what he ASKED, not what he WANTED (see below).

No, it is not. Or, rather is diffirent problem for typical programmer and
not different problem for "normal" user.

Let me tell you a story:
Stranger asks progerammer near bus (almost ready to go) on bus statition:
- Is it possible to get to the railway terminal on this bus ?
- Yeah, of course.
This answer is VERY true: you CAN get to the railway terminal on "this bus".
And it's also stupid (from non-programmers viewpoint). Problem lies NOT even
in direction (bus is going other way just now so you'll go to the bus's
terminal statition first and then you'll need to wait while bus will go back)
but in simple fact that user had in mind COMPLETELY other question "it is
FEASIBLE AND REASONABLE to use this bus to get to the railway terminal?"
And answer in THAT question is obviously NOT since in 50m from this bus
statition there are TRAM station and tram-line going short way so it's
fastest way to get to the railway terminal. So "normal" person will answer
- No, use tram instead. It's station is right there - only 50m.
Now, this answer is really lie (you CAN get to the railway terminal on this
bus, remember?) but it's good, usefull answer: stranger DO NOT need deep
anylisys of possibility to use bus to get to the railway terminal JUST NOW.
He just want to know what to do. And if after such answer programmer will
insist that you CAN get to the railway on this bus stranger can buy it
and will tremble on bus for next two hours and will damn "this bus", "this
programmer", "this stupid town with such stupid helpers there" and so on...

You can configure your mail server any way you want - it's your right, of
course. I just wanted to say that your truthfull answer is not good solution
for initial problem (how to make both Windows and Linux bootable from single
GRUB menu if Windows installed on SCSI drive and Linux on IDE drive) even if
it's tecnically correct. It's typical problem when programmer talks to
non-programmer (see story above :-) so I thought I can help here.
Sorry if it produced more problems then solved.
