Hello!

I have solved my problem in the following (simple) way:

# cd /boot
# ln -s . boot

So I not only have /boot/grub, but also a /boot/boot/grub (which is reduced
to /boot/grub in my case, where /boot is an extra partition).

This probably should be mentioned in the manual.
