Hello from Gregg C Levine usually with Jedi Knight Computers
A follow up to my earlier posting. What versions of the BINary UTILlities
are necessary for building GRUB? On this machine when he is running
Slackware Linux ver 7.1. I have what the claim to be the current versions
of everything, and version 05.94 of GRUB builds correctly, whereas version
05.95 does not. On an older machine I have NetBSD 1.4 for Intel platforms
running, and the CONFIG script on it for version 05.94 stops when it test
the version of the BINary UTILlities. It claims that I should update them to
the latest version. But everything on that system, except
the system version number is the latest version. Please explain.
