  I really like your idea and it is one of the plans we want to do in
version 1.0. But now is too early to start working on it. Definitely,
adding such a feature into GRUB breaks backward compatibility (due to
the inflexible definition of the configuration file and the
command-line interface), so we must release a stable version before
such a big change.
