Well, where did GRUB get loaded from? 

As I already stated, it is very useful to use diskless booting even
for computers with a disk. Or, at the very leasy, you have a floppy
with grub and get the rest from the network. No, I didn't try it, yet,
but that's the main reason I'm interested in grub.
