-> File system type unknown, partition type 0x7
I have a box with an adaptec 2940U2W controller an a 9 Go ultra-wide disk for Window NT And Linux . I have also a slow 30 Go IDE drive for stocking a lot of thinks !
Actually Nt boot from MBR of hd1, linux from floppy with either lilo or GRUB.
Grub is faster and it is usually used for booting linux.
Here is the fdisk report:

Here is the Grub report

As lilo cannot boot from the second disk hd0 (see: Linux+windowsNt mini-HOWTO)
I cannot use neither:
Dos MBR
Nt boot but linux does not (lilo stopped after LI).
Nor:
Lilo MBR
neither NT nor linux boot, (lilo stopped after LI).
When I try to boot NT from grub on disquette, I get:
-> File system type unknown, partition type 0x7
the Nt entry in the menu.lst on the floppy is:
# Entry 2: chainloaded OS.
title Windows Nt
root
makeactive
# Chainload from the first sector
chainloader +1
Obviously as NTFS is unknown for grub I do not tried GRUB on MBR.
It Grub was able to recognize NTS would be GR...eat !!!
Any idea to solve the problem (repartionning hd1 is not one and I must have NT)
Thanks a lot for your work
