release date of 1.0

Although I said that I wanted to release 1.0 in this year, that is
obviously impossible, considering not only the missing features but
also some imcomplete parts of the manuals. So I'd like to delay the
release date one month, that is, next January. I hope that I (and
Gordon) will have spare time in the beginning of next century.
