Hey guys,
I'm running grub 0.5.96.1, and I can't seem to get the menu to work. I first tried
with the convenient grub-install program:
grub-install /dev/hda
*grind*grind* -- done. cool. reboot. grub>. grmph. okay, let's do it manually.
I_M_ROOT# grub
grub> root (hd0,6)
Filesystem type is reiserfs, partition type 0x83
grub> setup (hd0)
Checking if "/boot/grub/stage1" exists... yes
Checking if "/boot/grub/stage2" exists... yes
Checking if "/boot/grub/reiserfs_stage1_5" exists... yes

(hd0,6)/boot/grub/stage2"... succeeded
Done.
grub>
ching! allright. reboot. grub>. well geez, no menu. what's up? oh- my
(hd0,6)/(/dev/hda7) is my / and /boot partition. Any guesses?
