I recently install RH7, and
port my favourite development tree under ;-). Install by default a strange
version of gcc 2.96.4 (the so famous by RH). And the result is : Gcc don’t want to handle #define ENTRY(x) .glob EXT_C(x) ; EXT_C(x) ## : So in shared.h we have a
warning message : Shared.h:247:43 :
warning : nothing can be pasted
after this token . And the compilation chain
crash ! So the winner is : R.Stallman,
and it’s remarks on releasing a compiler version not fully test ! Sure not me ! I remember some
similar problem with an other OS and its editor : let me remember …. Isn’t it
M$ and “20 doses” (in French) . And what I will do in next
days, shoot this distrib, and restart from an other one ! Some suggestions ? ( I currently use a French one
: Mandrake witch install GRUB by default ). Some others ? THX Thierry
