Certainly, yes. Generally speaking, you shouldn't change the drive
numbering scheme, after running your system up. That affects boot
loaders (and sometimes operating systems themselves) significantly.

If you have a boot floppy (you should have), boot off the floppy, and
re-install GRUB.
