there are two choices.

1) make a win98 boot disk boot from that then run fdisk /mbr"

2) if grub prompt still shows up, type "root (hd0,0)" depending on what
drives you have the hd*,* will tab complete. then type "makeactive",
then type "chainloader +1", then type "boot".  You can also type "help"
at anytime, to see a list of available commands and type "help
THECOMMAND" where THECOMMAND is the name of a command.
