Hi,
I have been having a problem with getting a 2.4.7 Linux kernel to boot
and NFS mount root. The target machine would error out because it did
not receive a reply from the host machine. var/log/messages showed that
NFS had replied. I trace the problem to /linux/net/ipv4/ipconfig.c line
852 where the if statement blocks extra request returns. This does not
seem to be getting initialized properly because it is blocking all
request returns. I commented this statement out and NFS mount worked
fine.
