Im trying to install GRUB 0.9. The machine is a dual pentium II running
Linux, kernel 2.2.17 with a SCSI disk and a eepro100 network card.

I run configure and make and make install and everything is fine.
To install grub on the hard drive, I run

grub-install --root-directory=/boot/grub /dev/sda

Actually it puts the stuff in
/boot/grub/boot/grub

If I copy the files to /boot/grub and reboot the machine, I see

GRUB: Loading Stage 1.5
Error 15

1) How can I install grub so its into /boot/grub and not
/boot/grub/boot/grub

2) WHay do I get the above error message?
Any help very much appreciated. Thanks,
