I thank you for your time, but I don't really consider building
temporary sed scripts a model of clarity.

I'll probably create a LILO-compatible GRUB patch for my
own use, but I won't bother to send you the patch,
because you clearly don't think it useful.

Because GRUB is open source, I don't have to (try to)
convince you. We can each go our way, and be happy.

I really like GRUB!
