First, lilo can load Linux kernel in over 1024 cylinders.
You just add ``lba32'' to your /etc/lilo.conf and excute
``lilo'' command. lilo have been supported lba32 option
after the version 21-3. You can check that like this,
# lilo -V
LILO version 21.4-4
Second, You should download
ftp://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/grub/grub-0.91.tar.gz
The installation manual that you should read is included in
grub-0.91.tar.gz.
