Previously I had HDs connected to the standard IDE ports - primary master, secondary master, and secondary slave. That worked fine until I couldn't get my IDE CD writer on the onboard ITE IT8212F Raid controller to recognize the writer under Linux. That prompted me to just move the two HDs on the secondary controller to the raid controller. Now that I have this configuration, GRUB bombs on me giving me the following:

GRUB loading, please wait...
Error 15

That's when GRUB just halts. As long as any HDs are on the raid controller, this problem occurs. When I boot off a floppy and directly into Linux, skipping the boot loader process, everything is seen. The HD on the primary master is the one that contains / and /boot while the two drives on the raid controller are seen as sda and sdb.

So... With the HD on the primary master being the only drive, GRUB works. When I add HDs to the onboard raid controller, GRUB gets lost and halts. Anyone know what's going on and how do I go about fixing?
