Hi,
I was wondering if any boot manager for Linux has the following option:
* Boot an alternative system if n reboots already happend.
This would be interesting for a dedicated server, where you have no direct access to the computer. The only possibility to interact with the machine is a reboot or hard reset if the system is not functioning any more and one ones to boot an alternative (backup) system.
To realize such an option, the bootloader would have to remember, how many times he was already booted.
Does any body know, how to do that ?
