Hi Yoshinori, *thanx again for your quick answer* |Take a look at this bug: |http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?func=detailbug&bug_id=1644&group_id=68
i've been there ... well IMHO it would be better to avoid a "telnetd" inside of grub. It would be fine to use a "grub-netconsole" apps due to the latest linux kernel netconsole. Doing so, such "grub-netconsole" could be used for both grub and linux kernel netconsole [IIRC linux kernel netconsole use UDP for transport layer] . This is what allready happen with minicom: we use minicom for both grub console and linux kernel console without further apps switching. |If you find an existing tool that sastifies our needs, that's the best. Even linux kernel netconsole isn't accomplished with a user space apps. |Otherwise, you would have to define how it works and implement it yourself. I would prefer this solution. -- Daniele. _______________________________________________ Bug-grub mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-grub
