Hum... because these ideas are, this time, quite orthogonal since I have
started to "design" something that is, as a side effect, a bootloader
but is more a rough kernel stripped down to some kind of core services
which could justify the name I give it: `proton', the smallest piece
upon which one can build something more complex.
And I have found the basic ideas and the lineaments of code in the BSD
world (and discovered that, yes, BSD _is_ a reference)...
But nothing is ready now, and I need to experiment and code to see how
far I can go with these principles. The neat result by now is that I ask
myself questions that I didn't thought about before concerning what is
or may be a bootloader, and it is sometimes more useful to have
questions than undisputed answers!
And I have always learnt more by my mistakes than by my early successes
("The road to wisdom? Well, it's plain and simple to
express:
Err
and err
and err again
but...
New ones![1]).
