Perhaps this is a bit off-topic, but what is the status of the hurdppc
project?

About GRUB: PUPA is what you need, like other people on this list
already told you.  I'm willing to work on this, actually I already
started with some stuff.  This includes the PPC port when the PC
version works. Barry deFreese is also interested in a PPC port.

Please be warned, I don't have as much time as I used to have.  Being
ill and having a lot of school work means less time for hacking. :(

Anyway, around Christmas I should have some time.  We can even work on
this together, or you can continue the hurdppc work and wait for me.

If we use the Open Firmware client interfaces it won't be difficult
(compared to the PC implementation for example).
