Hi All, I spent several hours looking for a solution for this problem. Any help is highly appreciated.
My PC has two hard drives - first one (80 GB) has Windows 2000 installed in it with three partitions and second one (4 GB) has Linux (Redhat 9) installed. I setup GRUB for the dual boot but when I select "DOS", it fails with following message: "rootnoverify (hd0,0) chainloader +1 Error 21: Selected disk does not exist" I can boot Linux successfully and "fdisk -l" does show hd0 as well as hd1. The GRUB shell from Linux also shows hd0 and hd1. So it looks like, GRUB doesnt see hd0 during the boot but Linux does see it after the boot. Before I put the second disk, there was Linux on the first disk (3rd partition) and I could boot both DOS and Linux without any problems. Thanks for any help.
