Is there any way to display a non-functional (i.e. 'comment' or 'rem') line in the Grub menu? I thought of maybe using 'title' but the manual says that's supposed to start a new boot entry.
(I just want to display something like "Grub menu on /hda1/boot/grub/ Debian Woody bf2.4 Red Hat 9 Win98 DOS ... ... " Since I'm running a number of hard drives and partitions, and at least a couple have versions of grub's menu.lst on them, it's sometimes hard to tell which one is being invoked. A descriptive menu line would help a lot. Of course I could just stick it in the first menu selection - "Debian Woody bf2.4 (this menu on /dev/hda1/boot/grub)" but that's really rather clumsy). cr _______________________________________________ Bug-grub mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-grub
