Summary: Hangs forever while trying to install to SATA drive

Original Submission: Hi,
I'm trying to install grub 0.94 into the MBR of a SATA drive.
It hangs forever while trying to determine what drive to install to (find /boot, where
/boot is on SATA).
This is using Linux 2.6.5 w/ libata, sata_sis.

Known missing feature, or bug?
