Ok, let's see if we can sort the legal stuff out. I need to ask you some questions. Valery wrote the UFS2 stuff for FreeBSD, and you ported it to GRUB, right? If that is so, AFAIK we only need copyright for the GRUB-specific bits. Is your part of the contribution legaly significant? (see http://www.gnu.org/prep/maintain_6.html for details) If it is, then you should assign copyright for your GRUB-specific changes to UFS2 code.
