Hello all, Okuji wrote recently to bug-grub (CCed) that he intends to release a new grub version, 0.96, soon. Do you intend to merge some or all of the huge patch with the new etherboot drivers? Okuji said this decision is for you to make.
FWIW, I use it on around 200 machines with several NICs and it works well. In "It" I refer to grub-0.95-diskless-patch-2.patch.gz. Some (many? I did not try recently) of them won't netboot without it. On a related subject, I tried the UNDI patch on a few machines, and while it works, it prevents local booting - when choosing an entry like root (hd0,0) chainloader +1 it hangs. Normal grub0.95+patch-2 does work. Any idea why? If not, I can try and help debug this. Thanks a lot for your work, -- Didi _______________________________________________ Bug-grub mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-grub
