Hi everyone,
I am using grub-0.92 version for my
software work. I have only one hard drive with
separate boot partition. so basically my grub.conf
looks like
root(hd0,0)
kernel /vmlinuz-version ro root=/dev/hda6
I have created separate initrd restore image in order
to restore my booting.
I have a separate entry for this restore image....
It boots normally for the first time however when i
boot using restore image entry grub doesnot load....
it stops at Grub loading stage2 ....
i figures out it reports Error24 :selected disk
doesnot exist....
I do have only one disk with separate root and boot
partition....
What is the best method to install grub when i restore
without using floppy disk....
I would really appreciate if guys could help me in
solving this problem...
