Hi, since upgrading from grub-0.94 to 0.95, the grub.conf is read, displayed on the screen, hitting enter starts the boot process, but grub exits complaining that it cannot find the kernel file.
I have to press "c" and type the kernel line on a commandline, filename autocompletion works quite well and successive "boot" command really boots the system. The bug has been introduced between 0.94 and 0.95 and is still present in 0.96. Please see http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=83287 for more details.
