Details:
For some reason grub just leaves me hanging (timeout not working), waiting
for me to press enter on bootup to select the kernel. Does anyone know why?
I've got a timeout value set, so it should have a countdown, and then boot
automatically. *Sometimes* it shows no countdown at all. When I press enter,
my maschine starts without problem, maybe grub is waiting on a
systemvariable, which it doesnt get ... is a big problem for vdr systems.
I use the Version of Ubuntu 5.10 (Grub 0.95), maybe it is an bios-spezific
issue.
