Hello from Gregg C Levine Without knowing what you were going to put on this laptop, I can only offer limited advice. I suspect the majority of the group with offer similar claims but here goes. To remove the GRUB materials from the MBR, from a DOS prompt using your DOS6.xx and later boot disk, simply enter fdisk/mbr and hit the enter key. Then when you reboot the laptop your complaint will be resolved.
There are other issues of course, but that's the simple ones. --- Gregg C Levine [EMAIL PROTECTED] --- "Remember the Force will be with you. Always."
