When using GRUB on a new installation of SuSE 10.2, the savedefault function
will not work if gfxmenu is displayed.

To configure:
The default line is changed from 0 to saved.
The command savedefault is added after each kernel to be booted in the menu.

When gfxmenu is present, the menu always defaults to 0 or the top item in the
boot list.
Commenting out or removing gfxmenu resolves the problem but does not look as
nice.

This also happens on back versions of Suse to at least 10.0.
