No, you haven't. Which was the sequence? If you started with Windows,
and added Ubuntu, it should work out of the box. If you had Ubuntu and
added Windows later, Windows would erase the grub boot-loader in the MBR
only. Use Supergrub (http://www.supergrubdisk.org/), 'find
/grub/stage1','root (hd0,n)', 'setup (hd0)' [Read the manual!] and
everything is back.
