I think changing that macro just moves the problem around and there appears to be not much ownership going on in the bug system itself. I mean, #23615 still is not assigned to someone. I'm only a very part time grub tinkerer (for vxWorks purposes), but I'm happy to bug fix on hardware I have that demonstrate new problems.
