Follow-up Comment #1, bug #27094 (project grub):
linux isn't the only OS having gfxpayload. So this variable has to be
suffixed with _LINUX and analoguous variable for xnu must be implemented.
Check if [ "x${GRUB_GFXPAYLOAD}" = "x" ]; then is probably useless
