The release of F11 was with much carelessness!
Did you try the rescue/chroot /mnt/sysimage/grub-install/find/root/setup ?
This may do it!
I had F11 sitting on my sdb and I could NOT reach it!
The upgrade/update to F11 from F10 made a lot of strange drive name changes.
