Details:
Neither I up2date GRUB Legacy to GRUB2 nor just install a new GRUB2,Neither
install ntldr in GRUB2 nor install GRUB2 in ntldr,Neither boot into windows
nor linux,
I just can't find my DVD-RW device in those OS. And I find that while grub2
run, the LED of DVD would be lighted ,and then I can't find DVD driver in any
OS .The LED light will not be turned off til the laptop has been shutdown. If I
only setup windows and no grub2 in mbr , everything is all right.
This is a new laptop, a Lenovo Ideapad Y710 - 2GB Ram - 250 GB HDD - OptiArc
DVD-RW - Intel 4965agn wireless - Broadcom NetLink BCM5906M Fast Ethernet PCI
Express - Lenovo EasyCam - Intel HD Audio (ALC888).
Everything, but the DVD, works flawlessly. Please help, I need the DVD drive
when I'm on the road for work, and an external unit is not on option.
