I _think_ my patch inspired the fix in bazaar, but I'm not sure. The fix in
bazaar doesn't take into account how deep into the /dev directory the
(recursive) find_root_device() function is.
Perhaps it doesn't seem important, but I think it is. Symbolic links in
/dev/mapper/ will now be followed. That's good. But symbolic links in
/dev/hello/mapper/ will also be followed. So will symbolic links in
/dev/hello/future/bugs/mapper/.
I liked my patch.
