Details:

When running grub-install from a terminal the following output appears on
screen.

[r...@jackodesktop baz]# grub2-install /dev/sda
which: no ofpathname in
(/sbin:/usr/sbin:/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/lib/qt4/bin)
which: no nvsetenv in
(/sbin:/usr/sbin:/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/lib/qt4/bin)
Installation finished. No error reported.

The attached patch for grub-install.in provided on IRC by Jordan_U and
slightly modified to incorporate recent changes appears to cure this on my
installation.
