Hi guys. I have tried now 3 diffren versions of linux distro's and they all
give me the same problem.

I have a Raid 0 configuration.

yes I understand troubling you with crap like this, but I have read
everything there is about raid 0 and grub and dmraid etc.

the dmraid loads but the grub boot loader does not want to install, it says
error /dev/sda, i know that is not what my raid is mounted at. pdc_something

I have made the following partitions

Size mount filesystem
100Mb /boot (ext2)
988Gb / (ext4)
12gb swap

Which comes to my question. how can i force install this thing?

or am I being a noob and doing stuff wrong?

this is the error
"/usr/sbin/grub-probe: error: cannot find a device for / (is /dev
mounted?)."

its just nobody can tell me straight how to do this.

Oh and if you have new releases and want me to be a test guinea I would be
glad to help.
I always tend to get the weirdest stuff.

Thanks in advance for any help.
sorry to disturb.
