Follow-up Comment #9, bug #34786 (project grub):

Windows installer always put its bootloader on the first bootable drive on
active NTFS/FAT partition and creating one if none available. The only way to
ensure that no modifications are done to unrelated drives is to disconnect
them. As for moving the contents of this partition web search "installing
bootmgr"
