Observed with grub-2.00_beta2 on Gentoo/Linux
I've some kernel/initrd files of versions
3.2.9-gentoo-x.1 and 3.2.11-gentoo-x.0 and .1
The 10_linux default (claimed latest kernel) found by version_find_latest is
the 3.2.9-gentoo-x.1 instead of the 3.2.11-gentoo-x.1
Test:
`version_find_latest /boot/vmlinuz /boot/vmlinuz-3.2.11-gentoo-x.0
/boot/vmlinuz-3.2.11-gentoo-x.1 /boot/vmlinuz-3.2.9-gentoo-x.0
/boot/vmlinuz-3.2.9-gentoo-x.1 /boot/vmlinuz.old`
Result /boot/vmlinuz-3.2.9-gentoo-x.1
Expected /boot/vmlinuz-3.2.11-gentoo-x.1
I've looked into /usr/share/grub/grub-mkconfig_lib but the patch isn't
obvious.
