Details:

Upgrading my Chakra distro. to use grub2 cause a very annoying situation.
Linux would boot fine on my HP G60 laptop, but when I selected Windows Vista
from the bootlader menu, it begins to load and then reboots most of the time.
I used EasyBCD to use windows boot manager instead and Vista loads fine. Most
times when I try to use Grub2 to load Vista this happens. Sometimes it goes
through though. But it's really a hit and miss situation. I have Windows 7 on
another laptop that functions fine with Grub Bootloader. The Bios version
number of the laptop is F 3E, and the operating system is Windows Vista 32
bit. I have reinstalled the linux O.S a couple of times, uninstall and
reinstall grub2. But no dice. The grub2 version is 1.99-9 on Chakra Linux
(Archimedes).
