Hello folks! On a Dell Dimension 4400 (about a 10-year old computer), when I boot into Grub2 rc~1, go into commandline, and enter "ls", it takes a painfully long time to load the found hard drives and partitions. Maybe 30 seconds?
However, ls'ing a filesystem is quick. So, is this a bug in Grub, or a BIOS bug? I'm guessing a Grub2 bug, but wanted to see what you guys think first. Jake _______________________________________________ Bug-grub mailing list [email protected] https://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-grub
