When I type the "halt" command at the Grub 2.00~rc1 prompt, it prints
to the screen "ACPI Shutdown failed", but then proceeds to shutdown
just fine.

So functionally, on this hardware, this is no problem, but it shows
that something deeper isn't right.

In fact, I was wondering if it might help in uncovering the bugs where
on many hardwares the halt command freezes the machine rather than
shutting it down. Or many at least help uncover one of those bugs.

Cheers,
Jake
