Follow-up Comment #3, bug #37707 (project grub):
This is only regarding the grub2 boot menu.
I have noticed the problem only exists on my one laptop (Lenovo G780) and only
if EFI/GPT is in effect.
I have have tried multiple reformats with multiple distributions of Ubuntu and
Fedora. Using the same configuration with non-EFI installs or on other
computers has desired effect.
I wish I knew more about how to dysect the problem.
