Follow-up Comment #1, bug #40715 (project grub):
Another small mistake: in util/grub-install.c, install_drive is passed as an
argument to grub_util_bios_setup() where it probably should have been
install_device. This results in the following error:
grub-install: error: Invalid device `hostdisk//dev/sda'.
