There is an wrong interpreted path for the phy_identifier
I have a Debian on Sparc (Sunfire v215)
root@host:~# grub-mkdevicemap
grub-mkdevicemap: error: cannot open SAS PHY ID
`/sys/devices/root/f0068b8c/pci0000:02/0000:02:00.0/0000:03:0a.0/0000:0b:00.0/0000:0c:08.0/0000:0d:01.0/host2/port-2:0/end_device-2:0/sas_device:end_device-2:0/phy_identifier'

root@host:~# grub-mkdevicemap --version
grub-mkdevicemap (GRUB) 1.99-27+deb7u2
The correct path is and exist:
/sys/devices/root/f0068b8c/pci0000\:02/0000\:02\:00.0/0000\:03\:0a.0/0000\:0b\:00.0/0000\:0c\:08.0/0000\:0d\:01.0/host2/port-2\:0/end_device-2\:0/sas_device/end_device-2\:0/phy_identifier
These section is wrong: sas_device:end_device-2:0
