Follow-up Comment #1, bug #46890 (project grub):
The information provided tells me two things:
1) The crash happens before the zImage gets to printing "Uncompressing
Linux...".
2) Both PC and LR point to regions that are not RAM.
As an experiment, could you try commenting out the call to
grub_arm_disable_caches_mmu() in
grub-core/loader/arm/linux.c?
